THE LOST VENUS
On 25 November 2019, I was particularly honored to participate, through my artwork "Lost Venus", in the battle to put an end to female genital mutilation, an atrocious crime committed against women and their identity. I produced the image that was used for the poster and as limited edition print to publicize the first Interdisciplinary Summit on Female Genital Mutilation, an event organized by the University of Naples “Federico II” and SICPRE, hosted by Dr. Stefania de Fazio, MD.
